The Ecumenical Franciscans of the Renewal
The Ecumenical Franciscans of the Renewal are a semi-monastic community of brothers and sisters living in the world and working toward a renewal through a return to simplicity of Church and Society that is based in an authentic Franciscan mystical spirituality. We understand St. Francis to have been a man of prayer concerned primarily with the imitation of Christ. It was out of this spirituality that his concern for the poor and his desire to renew and reform the Church grew, and we seek to live out that spirituality as St. Francis did.
